Martin Goodson has worked in data science and AI for over 15 years. His interests are in natural language processing and statistical modeling of human behaviour using internet-scale data sets.

Artificial intelligence-powered products he developed are in use at companies such as Time Inc, Staples, John Lewis, Top Shop, Conde Nast, New York Times, Buzzfeed, etc. His AI and machine learning work has been covered by publications including The Economist, Quartz and TechCrunch.

He is the CEO & Chief Scientist of the multiple award-winning AI data extraction firm Evolution AI.

He also founded and organises the London Machine Learning Meetup: the largest community of AI & machine learning experts in Europe.

In 2019, he was elected Chair of the Data Science and AI Section of the Royal Statistical Society, the membership group representing professional data scientists in the UK.
